2018 Audi A8 to premiere in the new Spiderman movie!

Looks like Audi is in no mood to leave no stone unturned for the promotion of its all new top of the line luxury model Audi A8 and garner maximum hype before its official launch. We had earlier carried the news that the next generation Audi A8 will make its debut on 11th of July in the ‘Audi Summit’ in Barcelona, Spain, here. Eventually, a more public premiere of the Audi’s flagship sedan is slated to be at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September this year.

Now it looks like, the next gen Audi A8 will have a jump start ahead of its launch by making its first public presence in the silver screen. Audi fans can now have a taste of the luxurious sedan in the new Marvel comics blockbuster movie ‘Spiderman: Homecoming’.

Just before the official world premiere, the new Audi A8 makes a guest appearance in the new Spiderman movie, ‘Spiderman: Homecoming’. The movie is slated for a release worldwide in July. Therefore, Auto buffs who are also movie buffs, get to catch the first glance at the premium brand’s luxurious sedan Audi A8 at the premiere of the film which is scheduled to take place in Los Angeles, USA on 28th of June.

In the Marvel’s blockbuster movie, Peter Parker played by Tom Holland gets chauffeured around in the new Audi A8 L by ‘Happy Hogan’ played by Jon Favreau. The first scene featuring the all new Audi A8 provides the initial impression of the front and side design of the Audi’s new sedan. Audi has also taken the opportunity to show to its fans the latest feature incorporated in its Audi A8 – autonomous driving when ‘Happy Hogan’ takes his hands off the steering of the Audi A8 and the vehicle continues to maneuver itself in the traffic jam, like magic. The Audi A8 takes over driving when the Audi AI traffic jam pilot is turned on.

In addition to the new Audi A8, other Audi models which make guest appearances in the movie include an Audi R8 V10 Spyder and an Audi TTS Roadster which can be seen driven by ‘Peter Parker’ himself.

The ‘Spiderman- Homecoming’ movie is scheduled to hit the movie theatres around the world in July.
