2019 Toyota Camry Hybrid Launched at Rs. 36.95 Lakh

Toyota has launched the 2019 Camry Hybrid in India and priced it at Rs. 36.95 Lakh Ex Showroom Delhi.

This is the 8th generation of the Camry for India which is also the flagship premium sedan for the Japanese car maker for the country. The All New Camry comes with a all new design language wich Toyota likes to call as ‘Keen Look’ design. The car looks a lot sharper and dynamic in styling. The All New Camry is built on the TNGA (Toyota New Global Architecture) platform which is also used by other Toyota models and the Lexus ES 300h.

The car gets a trendy looking ‘V’ unified grill in the front, a huge air dam and all mew design sweptback dusk sensing LED Projector headlights with DRLs in them. There are horizontal slats on the bumper that gives a mean aggressive look to the face. A large Toyota logo with blue glow defining the Hybrid character of the car adds to the front looks. The side profile is long and low slung with sharp character lines running over the waistline and flared wheel arches look classy. The rear profile is extremely beautiful and something unseen on any of the earlier Camry generations. Sleek sharp slim LED tail lights along with a neat integrated spoiler make matter extremely pretty on the rear end.

On the inside the new Toyota Camry Hybrid gets a all new redesigned dashboard with a 8 inch touchscreen infotainment system thats neatly flushed in the dash with JBL audio system that plays through 9 speakers. You get heads-up display (HUD) and a 7 inch instrument cluster. In terms of safety the New Camry Hybrid comes loaded with 9 air bags, ABS with EBD, advanced park assist, tyre pressure monitor to name a few. The Camry already has 5-star safety ratings in place.

Powering the All New Camry is the 2.5L petrol engine with 176 bhp at 5700rpm and 221NM at 3600-5200rpm along with an electric motor that makes another 118bhp and 202Nm of torque giving a total power of 208bhp with fuel efficiency of 23.27kmpl. A 6-speed CVT transmission is mated to this engine.
The All New Camry comes in Silver Metallic, Attitude Black and Phantom Brown along with four new exciting colors, Platinum White Pearl, Graphite Metallic, Red Mica and Burning Black paint shades.
