BMW 620d Gran Turismo Launched at ₹63.90 Lakh

BMW has launched the 620d Gran Turismo in India at a price of ₹63.90 Lakh for the Luxury Line. This now becomes the entry level 6-Series in the lineup and will be locally produced at BMW’s Chennai plant. The BMW 620d Gran Turismo joins the 630d and the 630d M to complete the lineup.

The 620d Gran Turismo offers a unique combination of spaciousness of a coupe. The 620d comes with the signature BMW styling with sloped coupe like roofline, frameless Windows, automatic tailgate, active rear spoiler, adaptive active headlights with BMW selective beam.

On the inside the BMW 620d Luxury Line gets tons of cabin space due to its coupe like styling, you also get rear seat entertainment package with two 10.2 inch screens, Bluray player, HDMI Connection, panoramic roof, electrically adjustable rear seats, electric sun-blinds, fine wood trim, ambient lighting, BMW Welcome light carpet, BMW gesture control and BMW Display key.

Powering the BMW 620d Gran Turismo is the 2.0l 4-cylinder Twin turbo Diesel engine with 190hp of power and 400Nm of torque. This engine is mated to a 8-speed Steptronic automatic transmission. The car accelerates from 0-100 kmph in just 7.9 seconds. You also get cruise control, drive modes, adaptive 2-axle air suspension with automatic self-levelling included on the package.

On the safety front the 620d Gran Turismo comes with air bags, Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS) with brake assist, Dynamic Stability Control (DSC) including Dynamic Traction Control (DTC), Cornering Brake Control (CBC), Hill Descent Control (HDC), Side-impact Protection, Runflat tyres (RFT) with reinforced sidewalls, electronic vehicle immobiliser, crash sensor.
