Automobili Lamborghini India announced the launch of Lamborghini Huracan Rear-Wheel Drive Spyder in India. The platform, assigned to introduce the expanded Huracan Family by Italian supercar maker Automobili Lamborghini, was the Lakme Fashion Week. This latest model is priced at Rs. 3.45 crores, an in vogue convertible, that combines the elements of elegant design with the pure on-road experience of the Huracan’s rear-wheel drive technologies.

If you go on the looks of this breathtaking beast, the rear-wheel drive Huracan Spyder features a newly designed front and rear with a dynamic, but more aggressive look distinguishing it from the 4-wheel drive version. The good looks of the car are accented by the large front air intakes that direct cooling air and headwind to increase down pressure on the front axle. It’s Pirelli PZero tires are exclusively developed for the rear-wheel drive. Specially contoured steel brakes with aluminium brake disc pots assist in weight reduction and improved cooling. Accenting the Huracan Spyder’s low, powerful appearance are the rear fins that start at the seat backs and continue along the roof line to the rear, creating the Spyder’s flowing profile.

As for the interior, Lamborghini offers a host of styling options, but the Lamborghini yellow trim gets an all-black cabin, with the company logo imprinted on the headrest and yellow detailing all over. As it does in the rear-wheel drive coupe, the Huracan Spyder’s 5.2-litre naturally aspirated, mid-mounted V10 engine provides a maximum 580 HP of power at 8,000 RPM and 540 Nm of torque at 6,500 RPM, with 75 percent of torque already available from 1,000 RPM. Opening and closing in just 17 seconds at speeds of up to 50 km/h, the lightweight soft top is efficiently stowed to maintain the Spyder’s perfect center of gravity. It also highlights the dynamic design of the open car.

The latest addition to the Huracan family adopts the soft-top solution of a true Spyder, distinguishing the convertible from its coupe sibling through a unique profile, with roof both up and down. Go take heed of this ravishing and mind-blowing rear wheel drive Lamborghini Huracan Spyder available for bookings at a dealership near you. It has already hit the Indian markets from 1st February 2017.
