Godzilla has finally landed on our Indian shores after a long wait and anticipation. The 2017 Nissan GTR is the last version of the current generation sportscar and gets more power under the hood. The car was first launched in 2007 and Nissan has continually kept updating the car each and every year. It is based on the mid-ship platform and a ATTESA E-TS all-wheel drive system. On the exterior, the car gets mild tweaks in the form of a redesigned bumper and sharper LED detailing in the headlights. Similarly at the rear there is a new spoiler and tweaked bumper too. There are new 20-inch wheels finished in black.

The interior sees the most changes though and gone is all the clutter of buttons on the centre console. Instead you get a bigger touchscreen infotainment system that displays each and every detail of the car’s dynamics making it a geek’s fantasy. The dashboard is now dual tone and comes with Nappa leather upholstery on the lower dashboard, steering wheel, doorpads and seats. This feels and looks like a true GT but more special is what lies under the hood. Some of the features offered on the 2017 Nissan GTR are rear parking camera with front and rear sensors, seat belt pretensioners, 6 airbags, Vehicle Dynamic Control (VDC), Traction Control, and high performance ABS.

The engine also boasts of a dry sump lubrication system. Suspension duties are handled by Bilstein DampTronic adjustable shock absorbers.
