Range Rover Evoque had made its debut in 2015 and its global launch in 2016. The Range Rover Evoque Convertible stands at 4,370mm x 1,900mm x 1,609mm (LxWxH) which about 10mm longer than its regular hard top version and its width reduced by 22mm and height by 26mm. The RR Evoque Convertible has a water wading capacity of 500mm.
The RR Evoque Convertible looks similar to the hard top version except for the soft top roof that takes 18 seconds to fold in and around 21 seconds to fold out. The folding roof in and out can be done upto speeds of 48kmph. This also happens to be largest and widest foldable roof fitted to any car till date as per JLR.
The roof folds into the boot area which measures 251 litres.
The Evoque Convertible that comes only in the top HSE dynamic variant features a 10 inch touch screen infotainment system with navigation, 360 degree camera, automatic climate control, 12 way electrical adjustable front seats etc. On the safety and off road front the car comes with features like Terrain Response system, ABS, EBD, Traction Control, roll stability control, trailer stability assist, and a tyre pressure monitor to name a few.
Powering the Range Rover Evoque Convertible is 2.0 litre Si4 Petrol engine that makes 240PS of power and maximum torque of 340Nm. Power to sent to all 4 wheels via the 9-speed automatic transmission. Land Rover claims the vehicle can hit 100kmph in 8.1 seconds and has a top speed limited to 217kmph.
