LIVE – Renault Triber 7-seater cross Globally unveiled in India

Renault has Globally Unveiled their 7-seater cross the Triber today at a media event in New Delhi. The Renault Triber has been creating a lot of hype in the recent and today’s reveal was the climax to it.

The Triber is a outcome of joint project between Renault teams from India and France and is specifically designed for the Indian market. The sub 4-meter 7-seater Renault Triber is a modular and versatile vehicle with more than 100 different seat configurations and also with Easyfix seats.

The Renault Triber from the outside look very European, comes with the family Renault face with good use of chrome and a sporty bumper. Headlights come with projector type beams and smart DRL’s integrated in them. The sides comes with plastic cladding around the fenders and on the running board highlighting the brute tough appeal. Roof gets black roof rails and the rear section gets slightly raised to enhance the headroom for the third row passengers. Both the front and rear ends comes with silver finish faux skid plates integrated into the bumpers.

The rear profile is highlighted with wrap around tail lamps that neatly integrate into the bootlid. The rear bumper come with unpainted black finish again highlighting the overall brute image of the Triber. Ground clearance stands at 182mm for the Renault Triber.

On the inside the seats come in a three row configuration that can be customized as per need. Instrumentation is also European styled with sober and neat dual pods. The center dash gets an 8-inch infotainment unit with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity.

The Renault Triber middle row seat can be slided, reclined or tumbled down as needed. While the Easyfix third row seats allow for easy handling and easy removal if needed. Seating modes include Life Mode (5 seater), Tribe Mode (7 seater), Surfing Mode (mix and match )and Camping Mode (all rear seats folded for max storage space).

The Renault Triber comes with a boot capacity of 84 liter for the 7 seater config, 320 liter for the 6seater config and 625 liter for the 5 seater config.

Powering the Renault Triber is the 1.0L 3-cylinder Petrol engine with 72PS of power and 96Nm of torque. Transmission options include a 5-speed manual and a 5-speed AMT automatic options.

On the safety front the Renault Triber will come with 4 airbags, 3-point seat belts, abs and EBD.
