Tata Nexon Launching on 21st Sept, Cars On Display at Showrooms

Tata Motors will launch the much awaited and anticipated stylish and futuristic Mini SUV the Nexon on 21st of September at Mumbai, this was announced a short while back . Tata Motors have already dispatched the first batch of Nexons to dealerships and they are currently on display at a few outlets gearing up for the launch. 650 Tata Motors dealerships will be the sales point for the Nexon where perspective buyers can walk in and have a touch and feel.

It may be remembered that the Bookings for the Tata Nexon had opened on the 11th of September across dealerships where one can book the car by paying only Rs. 11,000 as the booking amount.

The Tata Nexon comes with a strikingly different styling on the outside and inside. The Mini SUV comes with a lot of class leading features. Powering the Tata Nexon are the 1.5L Revotorq turbocharged Diesel Engine with power output of 110PS, 260Nm of torque and 1.2L Revotron turbocharged Petrol Engine with 110PS and 170Nm of torque. This is mated to a 6-speed manual transmission and the Nexon also gets a first in class Multi Drive mode, 8 speaker Harman Music System, Floating touch screen infotainment system with Android Auto and voice recognition, front dual airbags as standard, ABS with EBD among various other features.

Tata Motors has recently done a complete turn around with its new breed products. Starting from the Zest to the Tiago and then the Tigor to the mighty Hexa and now with the Nexon they want to show their real power and capability. The Tata Nexon will compete against the segment leader Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza, Ford Ecosport, Mahindra Quanto and TUV 300. The Maruti Brezza dominates the sub 4-meter compact SUV segment largely followed by the others in terms of sales. Watch this space for more.
