LIVE! 2018 Maruti Swift launched in India at Rs. 4.99 lakhs

Maruti Suzuki has officially launched the 2018 Swift at the 2018 Auto Expo. The 2018 Maruti Swift is based on a new platform that makes it lighter than before and more rigid than before thanks to use of high tensile steel.

The car gets features like a 7-inch Smart Play infotainment system with Apple Car Play and Android Auto, LED projector headlamps, LED taillights and new design dual tone 15-inch alloy wheels.

The 2018 Maruti Swift is powered by a 1.2-litre petrol motor that develops 83 PS and a 1.3-litre diesel that develops 75 PS. Both engines are mated to a 5-speed manual transmission and an AGS automatic transmission.

The petrol engine is rated to deliver 22 kmpl while the diesel is rated to deliver a class leading 28.4 kmpl. The new Swift will come with ABS, 2 airbags and ISOFIX seats as standard on all variants.
