Jaguar has opened bookings for the 2018 F-Type SVR today in India. This the fastest production car from Jaguar is priced at Rs. 2.65 Crore ex showroom. The Jaguar F-Type SVR can be booked at JLR Dealerships across India.
The F-Type SVR is developed by Special Vehicle Operations (SVO) team at Jaguar Land Rover. Powering the F-Type SVR is a 5-litre Supercharged V8 engine that hits out 567 bhp and develops 700 Nm of torque. The fastest car from the Jaguar stable can do a dash to 100 kmph in just 3.7 seconds and has a top speed of 322 kmph. The Jaguar F-Type SVR comes as a Coupe and Convertible body types.
Jaguar has done some weight shedding on the latest F-Type with the use of Titanium and Inconel exhaust system that helped shed 16 kg. Apart from this the F-Type also comes with forged 20-inch alloy wheels which helps shed further 13.8 kgs. The F-Type SVR also uses a larger rear bearing helping it to increase stiffness of up to 37 per cent compared to the regular F-Type. To further help the car get lighter the F-Type comes with seats constructed using Magnesium making the car lose 8 kilos of weight.
On the inside the F-Type SVR comes with SVR performance seats to help enhance the overall driving experience by an impressive notch.
