Royal Enfield has expanded the colour palette of its recently launched Guerrilla 450 with the introduction of a new paint scheme called Shadow Ash. The new colourway was showcased at the brand’s GRRR Nights X Underground event in collaboration with Tapaswi Racing in Pune.
Price and Variants
The Shadow Ash edition will be offered on both the Dash and Tripper Dash variants, priced at ₹2.49 lakh (ex-showroom, Chennai). The standard Guerrilla 450 range continues to be available starting at ₹2.39 lakh (ex-showroom).
Design Updates
The new dual-tone colourway features an olive green tank with blacked-out detailing, enhancing the muscular and stealth-inspired look of this urban roadster. With the addition of Shadow Ash, the Guerrilla 450 is now available in seven colour options: Brava Blue, Yellow Ribbon, Gold Dip, Playa Black, Peix Bronze, Smoke Silver, and Shadow Ash.
Engine and Performance
Powering the Guerrilla 450 is the same 452 cc liquid-cooled, single-cylinder Sherpa engine that also underpins the Himalayan. In this guise, it produces 40 hp at 8,000 rpm and 40 Nm at 5,500 rpm, though Royal Enfield has tuned the gearing and character specifically for the Guerrilla to deliver a more urban-friendly, spirited performance.
Hardware and Features
The motorcycle continues with its robust mechanical package, which includes:
- Suspension: 43 mm telescopic front forks with 140 mm travel and a rear monoshock with 150 mm travel.
- Braking: 310 mm ventilated disc with double-piston caliper at the front, and 270 mm single disc with single-piston caliper at the rear.
- Safety: Dual-channel ABS as standard.
- Wheels and Tyres: 17-inch alloy wheels shod with CEAT tyres sized 120/70 R17 (front) and 160/60 R17 (rear).
With the addition of the Shadow Ash colourway, Royal Enfield is further enhancing the visual appeal of the Guerrilla 450 while maintaining its strong value proposition. The motorcycle continues to stand out in the performance roadster category with its muscular design, tuned Sherpa engine, and premium equipment, now available in an even more stealth-inspired avatar.
