🚨 THE THAR IS BACK — AND IT’S NOW CALLED THE ‘OG’!

Mahindra has launched the updated Thar OG 3-Door at ₹10.32 lakh (ex-showroom), bringing a significant round of upgrades to the iconic lifestyle SUV.

🔥 WHAT’S NEW?
• Revised front & rear bumpers
• New LED headlamps with C-shaped DRLs
• New 19-inch alloy wheels
• Revised LED tail-lamps + ‘OG’ branding
• New Artemis Silver & Jeans Blue colours
• New Truffle Brown leatherette cabin
• Rear-seat armrest with cupholders
• Claimed lower NVH levels

But the bigger changes are underneath 👀

The Thar OG moves to Mahindra’s M_Glyde 4G platform, gets a new Pentalink rear suspension with Watts Link and Frequency Dependent Dampers, aimed at improving ride comfort.

Safety also gets a major upgrade with 6 airbags and all-round disc brakes as standard, along with ESP and rollover mitigation.

The familiar petrol and diesel engine options continue, with manual and automatic gearbox choices depending on the variant.

Rivals? Maruti Suzuki Jimny and Force Gurkha remain the obvious competition, while the Thar Roxx sits above it for buyers wanting more space and practicality.

The Thar OG isn’t a complete reinvention — it’s an attempt to make the original 3-door Thar more comfortable, safer and more modern without losing its core off-road identity.
