2023 BMW X1 Launched at ₹45.90 Lakh


BMW has launched the 2023 X1 in India with  prices starting at ₹45.90 Lakh at the Bengaluru Edition of The Joy Town. 
BMW’s new-gen X1 is based on the company’s FAAR architecture (also known as ‘Frontantriebsarchitektur’ a front-wheel-drive platform) that underpins the BMW 2 Series Active Tourer and the new-generation Mini Countryman crossover.

The 2023 BMW X1 comes powered with a 1.5-litre, three-cylinder, turbo-petrol motor that generates 136bhp and 230Nm of torque. You also have on offer the 2.0-litre, four-cylinder diesel engine that develops 150bhp and 360Nm of torque. A seven-speed DCT transmission does it’s duty on both the engines as standard.

The 2023 BMW X1 in terms of exteriors gets a new front and rear bumpers, sleeker LED headlamps, new LED DRLs, a larger kidney grille, 17-inch alloy wheels, refreshed LED tail lights,

On the insides the X1 comes with an all new curved display that houses the instrument cluster and infotainment system, and the latest iteration of BMW’s iDrive OS.

You also get as a standard fitment the BMW Live Cockpit Plus that is now powered by the BMW Operating System 8. Other standard features include an interior camera, BMW Digital Key Plus, BMW ID functionality and smartphone integration using Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, two-zone automatic climate control, sport leather steering wheel, BMW Maps, and a rain sensor with automatic headlight activation.

Other safety features included on the package include cruise control with brake function and front-collision warning system, and parking assistant, including reversing assist camera and reversing assistant, as standard with the new BMW X1.

The 2023 BMW X1 will take on the likes of the Mercedes-Benz GLA, Audi Q3 and Volvo XC40.
