Honda Dio 125 Launched at ₹83,400/-
Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India has launched the New Dio 125 with prices starting at ₹83,400/-. The New Dio will be available in two variants – Standard and Smart.
In terms of styling the New Dio comes with the trademark apron-mounted headlight and front turn indicators, sharp design on the body panels, split-style pillion grabrail, dual outlet exhaust with heat shield, new graphics and a bold logo. You have seven body Color options to choose from which include – Pearl Siren Blue, Pearl Deep Ground Grey, Pearl Night Star Black, Matte Marvel Blue Metallic, Matte Axis Grey Metallic, Matte Sangria Red Metallic, and Sports Red.
Speaking of features the Honda Dio 125 comes with LED headlight, idling stop system, side-stand indicator with engine inhibitor, integrated headlamp beam & passing switch, and a combined braking system. The trademark Honda Smart Key on the H-Smart variant gets you smart features like smart find, keyless start, and security functions.
In terms of technical specifications the New Honda Dio 125 now comes with the OBD2-compliant, 125cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine with eSP (Enhanced Smart Power) along with the Honda ACG starter, improvised tumble flow, friction reduction and improved combustion, and solenoid valves. Honda has not yet revealed the power output for the Dio 125 but if you compare this to the Grazia 125 which has the same engine then that scooter has a maximum power of 8.14bhp and 10.3Nm of torque output so expect similar specifications on the New Dio 125 too.
The New Dio 125 gets telescopic front forks and a preload-adjustable single rear spring. The braking duties on the base model is taken care by drum brakes, while the Smart variant gets the premium petal-type front disc brake, both variants have 18-litre under-seat storage and a front pocket storage bins.
In terms of pricing the base trim of the New Dio 125 comes in at Rs. 83,400, while the Smart variant is available at Rs. 91,300. Both variants are available with the special 10-year warranty package which include the three years standard and seven years optional extension pack.
