LIVE – Hyundai Grand i10 NIOS Launched with prices starting at ₹4.99 Lakh

Hyundai has launched the Grand i10 NIOS in India at a starting price of ₹ 4.99 Lakh . The Hyundai Grand i10 NIOS which is the updated version of the Grand i10 will be available in Petrol and Diesel in a total of 10 variants. The Grand i10 NIOS is available in six colour options – red, white, silver, grey, teal and blue.

In terms of design, the Hyundai Grand i10 Nios comes with projector headlamps and sports wider cascading grille that also houses an flushed boomerang-shaped LED DRLs. The side profile come with with dual-tone alloys and a floating roof styling. The rear profile gets smart styled LED taillights.

On the interiors the Grand i10 Nios comes with 8 inch floating touchscreen infotainment unit with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto plonked on a new design dual-tone oval design element dashboard. Included on the feature list are wireless Smartphone charger, smart air purifier, automatic climate control to name a few. Instrument cluster comes with an 5.3-inch MID with digital speedometer and a rear-view camera.

Powering the Hyundai Grand i10 Nios is the BS-VI compliant 1.2-litre Kappa petrol engine and a BS-VI ready 1.2-litre CRDi diesel engine. The petrol engine produces 81bhp and 114Nm of torque while the diesel motor has 74bhp of power and 190Nm of torque. Transmission options include a five-speed manual unit and an AMT automatic option on the Sportz trim.

In terms of dimensions the Hyundai Grand i10 Nios stands at 3805mm in length, 1680mm in width, 1520mm in height and has a overall wheelbase of 2450mm. The Grand i10 Nios is 40mm longer and 20mm wider than the normal Grand i10, while the wheelbase is also up by 25mm.

Safety features available on the Hyundai Grand i10 Nios as standard include dual front airbags, ABS with EBD, high-speed alert system, rear parking sensors and front seat belt reminder alert.

Hyundai India is also offering a segment-first variable basic warranty plan that includes options such as 3 years/1 lakh kms, 4 years/50,000 kms and 5 years/40,000 kms.

The Grand i10 Nios rivals the likes of the Maruti Suzuki Swift and the Ford Figo in the B-segment here in India.
