LIVE – Maruti Suzuki launches the 2022 XL6 with prices starting at ₹11.29 Lakh

Maruti Suzuki has launched the New XL6 today with prices starting at ₹11.29 Lakh. The 2022 XL6 comes with loads of changes on the outside and inside and a brand new engine powering it. Maruti Suzuki had opened pre bookings for the 6 Seater MPV a few days back and has received a huge response for it. The 2022 XL6 is available in 4 trims namely Zeta, Alpha, Alpha+ & Alpha+ Dualtone.

In terms of changes the biggest update on the 2022 Maruti Suzuki XL6 is its engine. The MPV now will come powered with the K15C dualjet petrol engine that will also power the 2022 Ertiga which was launched a few days back. Transmission options include a 5-speed manual and a New 6-speed torque convertor automatic. The new 1.5L K15C petrol engine makes around 115bhp which is 10bhp more powerful than the older XL6. You also get the Smart Hybrid technology integrated on to this engine. The 2022 XL6 complies with the upcoming CAFE 2 norms that come into action this month.

In terms of exterior changes the updated 2022 XL6 gets new design front grille, revamped bumpers and restyled new design lights. The MPV also will get new design 16 inch alloy wheels.  On the interiors the 2022 Maruti XL6 gets a bigger 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system with latest generation wireless smartphone connectivity, ventilated front seats, 360 degree camera, new upholstery, climate control, revised aircon vents etc.

The 2022 Maruti Suzuki XL6 is available across four trims and can be got in six exterior colour options – Arctic White, Splendid Silver, Grandeur Grey, Brave Khaki, Opulent Red and Celestial Blue including two dualtone color options.

In terms of safety the 2022 XL6 gets four airbags as standard and six of them for higher variants along with hill hold assist and ESP.

The 2022 Maruti Suzuki XL6 goes up against the likes of the Kia Carens, Mahindra Marazzo and also the Maruti Suzuki Ertiga.
