Mercedes-Benz Launches the New 2024 GLS Premium SUV in India at ₹1.32crore

Mercedes-Benz has launched the latest updated model of its Flagship SUV the GLS today in India. The 2024 Mercedes GLS is available at a starting price of Rs. 1.32 crore. The New GLS will be available in two main trims: GLS 450 (petrol) and GLS 400d (diesel).

In terms of exteriors updates the New 2024 GLS gets a strong muscular design with the face getting a bold new grille with four horizontal slats, redesigned bumper with bold intakes and side vents, new design Alloy wheels refreshing the sides while the rear profile gets a  a revised bumper and tweaked sharper tail light making the car look a lot more trendier and young.

In terms of interiors the New Mercedes GLS gets a slightly tweaked dashboard layout with new trims and upholstery colors to choose from. The proprietary MBUX infotainment system also gets an update to the latest generation with a dedicated  off-road mode with revised graphics for gradient, lateral inclination, compass, and steering angle readouts also the latest trending transparent bonnet feature.

Other notable features included on the update are, four-zone climate control, connected car technology, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay integration, a panoramic sunroof, premium Burmester 3D surround sound system, power-operated tailgate, and adjustable front seats. Safety features include multiple airbags, electronic stability control, tyre pressure monitoring system, and Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS).

The New Mercedes GLS is available in two trims: GLS 450 (petrol) and GLS 400d (diesel). Both variants get powered by a three-litre six-cylinder engine with mild-hybrid technology. Both variants will also come with all-wheel drive and a 9-speed automatic transmission. The GLS 450 Petrol makes 365PS of power and 500Nm of torque while the GLS 400d makes 330PS and f power and generates 700Nm of torque.
