TVS wins accolades for best quality two wheelers in premium and economy

TVS Motor Company, one of India’s leading two and three-wheeler manufacturers, has attained a honourable position in the J.D. Power 2017 India Two-Wheeler Initial Quality (2WIQS) Study and Automotive Product Execution and Layout (2WAPEAL) study. The study has ranked the company’s Star City+ as the best quality product in the economy segment. Whereas, the TVS Apache RTR 160 claimed the title of Best Quality product in the premium segment.The TVS sport ranked Number 1 in APEAL in the economy segment.

Every year, J.D. Power ranks two-wheelers in terms of Best-in-Class customer APEAL and Best-in-Class quality. This is done via a detailed survey of over 9,000 customers. This is the third survey of its kind in India, and it is a global indicator of customer delight. Over the years, TVS Motor Company has been at the fore-front when it comes to the delivery of high quality world class products.

The 2017 India Two-Wheeler Initial Quality Study (2WIQS) takes place on the basis of an evaluation through 9,570 people that have bought a new vehicle between March 2016 and October 2016. It covers 87 two-wheeler models produced by 10 manufacturers. The study took place from September to December in 2016 across 45 cities in India.
