Audi Launches the New A8L in India prices start at ₹1.29 Crore

Audi has launched the New A8L in India. The flagship Premium sedan from the German car maker Audi will be available in two trims Celebration priced at ₹1.29 Crore and Technology priced at ₹1.57 Crore ex showroom.

The New Audi A8L is available in 8 standard exterior colors- Terra Grey, District Green, Firmament Blue, Floret Silver, Glacier White, Manhattan Grey, Vesuvius Grey, and Mythos Black and available in 4 interior colors Mother of Pearl Beige, Cognac Brown, Sard Brown and Black.

Powering the New Audi A8L is the 3.0L TFSI (petrol), 48V mild-hybrid engine that produces 340 hp and 500 Nm torque. The Audi A8 L accelerates from 0-100 kmph in just 5.7 seconds.

In terms of styling the New A8L comes with refreshed exterior design with a widened, sportier single-frame grille and integrated chrome angles defining it. On the feature list you get Digital Matrix LED headlights with animations, OLED rear lights with unique tail light signatures, predictive active air suspension, dynamic all-wheel steering, Park Assist Plus with 360 degree cameras and lots more.

Comfort and technology features include Rear relaxation package with recliner,
heated foot massage function for rear side passenger, air ionizer and aromatization, rear seat entertainment system, rear seat remote. The sound unit is a Bang & Olufsen advanced 3D sound system Equipped with 23 speakers, a 23 channel BeoCore® amplifier, 3D front and rear surround sound, and automatically extending acoustic lenses to ensure the best possible audio reproduction.

Other innovative tech features include Matrix LED rear reading lights, Ambient Lighting Package Plus, head-up display, and a lot more. The car’s system detects road undulations in advance using the front camera and predictively adjusts the suspension for brilliant comfort. Predictive compensation up to a speed of 30 kmph.

In terms of safety the premium sedan gets Audi Pre-Sense Basic that activates in milliseconds in anticipation of a collision to reduce the risk of injury. There are 8 airbags (including front and rear-seat side airbags) present in the sedan which is upgradeable to 10 airbags, with the optional central airbags for the front and rear as a part of Safety Package plus, Preventive self-tightening function for all seat belts front and rear and Park Assist Plus with 360 degree cameras with obstacle detection and manoeuvre assist

The new Audi model will rival the likes of the Mercedes-Benz S-Class, BMW 7-Series, Jaguar XJL, Lexus LS and the Volvo S90.
