Audi Q2 now available with 190PS TFSI and Quattro 4WD

Audi Q2 has always been the model which Audi had developed, more to fill up a void in the market segment rather than produce a unique product with outstanding credentials. Actually speaking, the Audi Q2 is a pretty decent looking, little, premium SUV which suits the best for the role of an Urban SUV. It is also much better looking in the flesh, well made, practical and in fact a nice little one to drive around.

Now, Audi UK has decided that what its baby SUV needs is a dose of more power and an all wheel drive system. With that in mind, the German auto manufacturer is expanding the Q2 Quattro range with the addition of the 2.0-liter TFSI engine option, which can now be ordered from the manufacturer.

Producing 187hp (190PS), the new 2.0-liter TFSI is the most powerful engine you can get with the Audi Q2. Combined with the trademark Quattro all-wheel drive and the standard S-Tronic dual-clutch gearbox, the most powerful Audi Q2 can make for a compelling drive with the new version of the Audi Q2 can accelerate from zero to 62mph (100km/h) in 6.5 seconds. The top speed has been electronically limited to at 141 mph.

The seven-speed S-Tronic gearbox also features a coasting function when the driver selects the “efficiency” mode, while the stop-start function can shut off the engine when speed drops to 4.3mph.
