Both the models are powered by an imported V-twin 2000cc S&S engine’s, a brand famous as a manufacturer of performance oriented replacement engines for Harleys in the US. Avantura Motorcycles aims to be India’s first Ultra premium chopper manufacturer offering the most powerful motorcycles on Indian roads, designed to ensure safety & comfort at every level.  The body design & engineering is managed by a celebrity Chopper designer, Kevin Alsop from USA. Avantura Motorcycles will also facilitate entry of players like S&S, Rivera Transmission, Avon Tyres, Progressive Suspension, Beringer, Mustang seats and Kellerman to India as OEM partners. Other than these, all other components will be sourced locally from India itself.

Headquartered in Mumbai, Avantura Motorcycles have setup their manufacturing plant at Vasai. Avantura Motorcycles was founded by Gaurav Agarwal and co-founded by Vijay Singh 7 years ago, when they started off with a research idea to turn the chopper class of motorcycles into ideal, saleable model.  They will initially start with 2 dealerships in Mumbai & Delhi, but plan to expand in 7-9 in coming years. These V-Twin  Avantura choppers will come with a price tag of +20 Lakh each. At present, Harley Davidson, Triumph & Indian Motorcycles have costlier options available in the same segment. While the Ultra premium motorcycles market in India is still blooming, various studies have shown that the sale of bikes above 1600cc is going up by 60% y-o-y. It is expected that by 2022, there will be around 20,000 high power bikes on Indian Roads. Avantura Motorcycles aims to capture a market share of 5-8% by 2022.

The bikes look beautiful and stunning, with their long wheel base, and stretched forks and muscular designing, these will surely be head turners in the coming days.  Only task left of Avantura is now getting the name out there in the market and convincing the Indian customers to invest +20 lakhs, in a brand that has just started its journey. We wish Avantura Motorcyles best of luck in their journey, and wait early to get our hands on them soon.
