Honda CLIQ 110 cc scooter launched @ INR 42,999
Honda Motorcycle and Scooters India Limited (HMSI), one of the leading manufacturers of two wheelers in India, has launched its all new product in the two-wheeler segment Honda CLIQ. The Honda CLIQ is a 110-cc scooter offering and has been specially developed to maximize utility combined with the added value of comfort and convenience for the customers.
Competing in a highly competitive scooter segment dominated by Honda’s own Activa, the CLIQ has a few aces under its sleeve. Honda CLIQ carries a special block pattern tires with deep grooves that provide extra grip and better control in patchy roads under all weather conditions. Honda touts this feature as an industry first and claims that the tires have much better durability and longer life.
Also, to infuse more practicality and utility to its CLIQ, Honda has designed a wide and spacious foot board, a large under the seat storage space and also provides an optional rear carrier to take care of comfort and better load carrying ability of its latest entrant.
Being a Honda, the one thing that is never needed to be discussed about is its legendary reliability. Honda CLIQ is powered by the tried and tested 110 cc Honda HET (Honda Eco Technology) engine which delivers good performance while not compromising on the mileage. This BS 4 engine delivers 5.91 Kw of power and with a kerb weight of only 102 kgs, Honda CLIQ has one of the best power to weight ratio in the segment which should translate into a zippy real world performance.
To perform the braking duties, Honda has employed a Combi Braking System (CBS) with Equalizer technology. The Equalizer technology distributes the braking force proportionately to both front and rear wheels resulting in a more controlled and safe braking.
The design of Honda CLIQ should appeal to both male and female riders and the low seat height and light weight should be welcomed by the fairer sex. Other features of Honda CLIQ include a mobile charging socket, tubeless tyres, maintenance free battery and viscous air filter. To add more value to the offering and to provide customization options to its customers Honda has also made available a wide range of accessories which can be chosen by the customer.
Honda CLIQ will be manufactured in Honda’s plant in Tapukara in Alwar, Rajasthan and shall be available in four color options: Patriotic Red with White, Black, Moroccan Blue with White and Orcus Grey. Available in both standard and graphic variants, Honda CLIQ has been priced at INR 42,999 ex-showroom, New Delhi.
