HVK Monsoon Drive 22 – Exciting, Crazy, Mesmerising

Have u heard about HVK monsoon drive (MD)???
If not , Let me tell you , you are missing SOMETHING in life 😁…
And if Yes, and if u have been a part of it before , you know how Exciting , Crazy , Mesmerizing it is.

Well after a gap of 5 years we got a chance to go on one such Drive again with HVK sir (whom we all call Chief). After many recces and discussions with his team a destination was finalized and the message was floated among the Forum members (drive was exclusive only for members this time).

A whatsapp group was created for interested members and suddenly MD became the Topic for days 😍.

Chief and his Super efficient team made sure of all the arrangements and prepared us for whatever we needed to carry and be ready for.

But as always the destination was a secret. Kyunki Chief says I want you to enjoy the journey and not just think about the destination.

Well finally came the D- Day. All set and Excited we all left home around 5 am or 5.30 am depending on the distance from our homes to the base point which was Toni da Dhaba , Kamshet.

The meeting time was 7.30 to 8 pm. Cars started rolling in. We met some old friends and made some new ones. The convoy was formed and we were all set to head towards an exciting journey , to explore the unexplored with none other than Chief Kumar HV sir and the Convoy heads.

With 40 cars and 1 bike we moved towards Snake Point , passing through Mormewadi Fall heading to hill top Satvewadi Village , enjoying some local Wada pav (arranged by HVK team) and super yummy Brownies made by a Forum member Prajakta.

The view from the top was of Indrayani River , the Tokarwadi dam reservoir and Andra dam reservoir.

Our drive was a full clockwise circle around Tokarwadi Dam Reservoir ending at Andra Dam Reservoir doing a full circuit of 87 kms.

We stopped for lunch at Dahuli waterfall. Here we all took a walk in the nature, bathe in the clean and cold water of the waterfall, enjoyed the delicious food and celebrated Mr Sandeep Shah’s 56th Birthday by cutting a cake. The cake was 4 cakes of 14” each and pieced together to make 56” and we had magic candles to be blown away.

After getting refreshed and rejuvenated we moved towards the highest point of that region The Khandi Point. Clicked some amazing pictures and enjoyed the evening snacks.

And then headed to our base point from where we started the journey in the morning. Took a quick impromptu tea break @ Toni da Dhaba (which was not at all quick) had some masti , chit chat and finally bid good bye to everyone and move back to our home with some Great Memories.

It was a day well spent
We could not hold ourselves back from discussing about the Drive , meet and share pics from the day on our whatsapp group.
