Hyundai EXTER to come with 6-Airbags as Standard, details here
Hyundai has just announced that the upcoming micro SUV EXTER will come with 6-airbags (Driver, Passenger, Curtain & Side) as Standard across all trims making it the first in class car model to do so. Hyundai has also confirmed that the EXTER will come with 26 Safety Features available across all variants and as an option on entry trims (E & S) which include 1st in Segment features like ESC (Electronic Stability Control), VSM (Vehicle Stability Management) and HAC (Hill Assist Control). Further, Hyundai EXTER boasts of standard safety features like 3-Point Seat Belt & seatbelt reminder (all seats), Keyless Entry, ABS with EBD, Rear Parking Sensors, ESS, Burglar Alarm and many more. The Hyundai EXTER will be loaded with over 40 Safety Features that include Headlamp Escort function, Auto Headlamps, ISOFIX, Rear Defogger and Rear Parking Camera. Additionally, Hyundai EXTER offers Segment First safety features such as Dashcam with dual camera, TPMS (Highline) and Burglar Alarm.
The Hyundai EXTER is available in 3 powertrain options – 1.2 l Kappa petrol engine (E20 Fuel Ready) with choice of 5-speed manual transmission & AMT and 1.2 l Bi-fuel Kappa petrol and CNG with 5-speed Manual transmission. EXTER is available in 5 variants EX, S, SX, SX(O) & SX(O) Connect.
Body Color options include 6 Monotone and 3 Dual tone exterior colour options including 2 New & Exclusive colors – Cosmic Blue, Ranger Khaki which are also available with Dual tone colour options
In terms of exteriors the Hyundai EXTER comes with Projector headlamps, H-Signature LED DRLs & Diamond cut alloys among a host of segment first & unique features.
Exterior styling on the EXTER includes a prominent Parametric Front Grille, H-Signature LED DRLs, Projector Headlamps and Sporty Skid Plate, unique EXTER emblem on the front, Diamond Cut Alloy wheels housed in blacked out wheel arches & side sill cladding, floating roof design, Parametric Design C-Pillar garnish and Sporty bridge type Roof Rails. No interior details are available as of now but expect the EXTER to be loaded till the brim in typical Hyundai fashion. The Hyundai EXTER goes up against the likes of the Tata Punch, Renault Kiger, Nissan Magnite, Maruti Suzuki Fronx when it goes on sale in June with Bookings open now.
