Hyundai unveils official rendering for the All New i20
Hyundai Motor India Ltd today unveiled the first design sketches of the all-new i20, the quintessential derivation of Hyundai’s Global Design Language – ‘Sensuous Sportiness’ as per the Korean car maker.
As per the rendering released today the All New i20 looks very sporty, dynamic and classy from the outside. The front end comes with sharp character lines on the low slung bumper, wide glossy black grille, round fog lamps, wide front grille with glossy black mesh on it. Headlamps look extra sporty and slim in design something not seen in this segment. The bonnet also is seen to get smooth character lines that flow backwards. Wing mirrors seen in the rendering are also slim styled and wide in design giving a very sporty look.
Wheels get progressive style diamond cut alloy design while the top is seen to sport a blacked out paint shade giving that extra sporty dual tone look.
The rear end gets a very different styling something that’s unseen here in India. Unique ‘Z’ styled LED tail lamps are neatly infused into the body while the rear also adorns a chunky spoiler and a glossy black insert strip across the boot lid just under the rear glass mating the tail lamps with a chrome strip that gives the rear profile a wide stance. The rear bumper is also very sporty in design as seen in the rendering.
In terms of interiors the All New i20 comes with a neatly rounded designed dashboard with a floating touchscreen AVN system, also seen is some neat looking lined insert on the crash pad that runs across the dash cutting through the AC vents.
Also seen is the digital control unit of the climate control and the new age design steering wheel with leather wrap. The instrument cluster on the New i20 would be all digital as seen. Door pads come with storage space and color inserts while also visible is the sport gear shifter, leather upholstery on the seats and also centre arm rest with storage under it.
As per Hyundai the All New i20 is deriving its futuristic and dynamic characteristics from ‘Sensuous Sportiness’, the all-new i20 brings harmony between four fundamental elements:
