Exclusive! Isuzu D-Max Spark spotted in India for the first time!

The Isuzu D-Max Spark is the new single cabin variant of the D-Max and will be sold in India very soon.

You have seen it here first! This is the new Isuzu D-Max Spark that is sold in our neighboring country across the sea, Thailand. The pick up truck will be replacing the standard single cab D-Max in India. While it could also be positioned above the regular D-Max. The front design on this updated pick up truck is more in line with the D-Max V-Cross and comes across as a toned down version. On the insides, the car is gets a provision for a double DIN stereo system while there is are manual HVAC system.

The engine on the new Isuzu D-Max Spark will be a 1.9-litre 4-cylinder unit that develops more power at 148 HP and 350 Nm. The current 2.5-litre engine on the regular D-Max develops 134 HP and 320 Nm respectively. Gearbox will be the same 5-speed manual unit. As can be seen in the spy shots, the pick up truck will share the same leaf spring suspension with the D-Max at the rear, while the double wishbone setup is expected to be carried over from the D-Max. The new Isuzu D-Max Spark is expected to be launched in India very soon by the end of this year itself.

Very recently the Isuzu D-Max V-Cross facelift was revealed in Thailand. The car got more dashes of chrome on the front grille, fog lamps along with a new headlamp cluster with LED DRLs that lends it an overall aggressive look. On the insides, there are no major changes but there is an updated touchscreen infotainment system and new brown colour for the seat upholstery. These updates will be seen on the D-Max V-Cross to be launched at a future date.
