Kawasaki launches the MY22 Vulcan S and MY22 Z650

Kawasaki has been busy this week updating their lineup, the Japanese motorcycle maker has also launched the MY22 Vulcan S and the MY22 Z650. The MY22 Vulcan S is priced at Rs. 6.10 Lakh while the MY22 Z660 is priced at Rs. 6.22 Lakh.

Starting off with the MY22 Vulcan S this cruiser is now available in Metallic Matte Graphene steel Gray colour paint option that comes with silver and gray colour fuel tank and on the radiator shrouds. Powering this motorcycle is the same BS-6 649cc, parallel-twin, liquid-cooled engine that produces 59.94bhp at 7,500rpm and 62.4Nm of peak torque at 6,600rpm mated to a six-speed gearbox. The Vulcan S retains its looks and comes with a halogen headlight, a semi-digital instrument cluster with gear position indicator, 18-inch front/17-inch rear wheels, a 14-litre fuel tank, an under-engine exhaust canister, and cruiser dynamics.

Coming to the MY22 Z650 this one gets costlier by Rs. 6000 over the outgoing model but for this price difference you now get a new colour scheme called ‘Candy Lime Green Type 3’. This paint option is a mix between green and black along with grey graphics and replaces the Metallic Spark Black color offered on the older version of the Z650. On the technical front the Z650 continues to be powered by the BS-6 649cc, parallel-twin engine that hits out 67.31bhp and makes 64Nm of peak torque. As for the feature list the MY Z650 comes with LCD instrument cluster with Bluetooth connectivity, dual-channel ABS, and a slipper clutch. The Z650 rides on Dunlop Sportsmax Roadsport 2 tyres.
