Kawasaki Ninja 650 Launched in New Blue Shade at Rs.5.33 Lakh

Kawasaki has launched the Ninja 650 in an all new Blue color shade at Rs. 5.33 Lakh Ex Showroom. Kawasaki calls this blue shade as Candy Plasma Blue. This new Blue shade will replace the Black color option that was available.

There are no changes technically to the Ninja 650. The motorcycle gets its power from a 4-stroke parallel twin 649cc DOCH engine with 68ps of power at 8000rpm and 65.7Nm of torque at 6500rpm.

Kawasaki Ninja 650 motorcycle comes with a digital ignition and electric start. Braking system is taken care by dual 300 mm petal disc brakes in the front and 220 mm single disc at the rear. ABS is standard. Front suspension on this motorcycle is a 41 mm telescopic fork while the rear Rear gets a Horizontal Back-link with adjustable preload.

The Kawasaki Ninja 650 comes with an LCD screen for instrumentation with negative display. This digital instrumentation gets a digital speedometer and gear position indicator also display functions include: odometer, dual trip meters, remaining range, current and average fuel consumption, coolant temperature, clock and Economical Riding Indicator.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Yutaka Yamashita, Managing Director of India Kawasaki Motors said “We take a lot of pride in different color combinations, though the green and black is our signature style. The Ninja 650 in black received a very good response in the Indian market. Now we are expecting the same for blue Ninja 650 ABS.”
