LIVE – 2020 Hyundai Creta Launched at Rs. 9.99 Lakh

Hyundai has launched the 2020 Creta in India with prices starting at XXXXX today at a media event in New Delhi. The Creta is the best selling SUV from the Korean car maker since its launch is 2015. Hyundai also announced that they have already received 14,000 bookings before the official launch for the All New Creta. It may be recalled that the Chennai based carmaker had opened the bookings online and across dealerships just a few days back. The All New Creta was unveiled at the hands of Bollywood Super Star Shahrukh Khan at the 2020 Auto Expo in Delhi.

On the outside the 2nd generation Hyundai Creta gets a completely new front design with the 3D cascading grille inspired from the Hyundai Palisade SUV along with larger LED headlamps and new boomerang-shaped DRLs. The bumpers have been beefed up with new skid larger plates and there are new 17-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels in place as well. The car rear gets distinctively different design with the all LED taillights that looks very different from anything seen in the segment. The boot lid also gets a horizontal slim led stop lamp adding more style to it. The New Creta also has a visibly larger wheelbase that should be resulting in much larger interior space. The Latest Generation of the Creta has a much stronger structure that is built with 74.3% Advanced High Steel Strength. The Creta goes through loads of checks which includes the 3D Scan which confirms the intricate profile quality.

The All New Hyundai Creta comes loaded with features and technology till the brim. The exterior styling is very muscular and different while the cabin gets a completely fresh setup with premium features. Coming to the interiors step inside and you will instantly notice the super premium feel of the cabin area. Apart from the all new dualtone dash that gets a faux hand stitching design on it the next thing you instantly notice is the voice activated panoramic electric sun roof that lets in more light making the cabin look lot more larger. The seats come with a dual Tone Black & Greige Colour Scheme with Leatherette Upholstery. The New Creta also get an all new 7 inche digital instrument cluster along with a brand new flat bottom leather wrapped steering wheel with trendy looking metal inserts and MFD buttons on it. The vehicle also gets paddle shifters on the Automatic version. The AC vents gets new vertical styling enhancing   the overall styling cues on the inside. The highlight of the cabin on the New Creta is the 10.25 inch touchscreen infotainment unit with Hyundai Blue Link loaded on to it. You have the usual telephony and connectivity features also loaded to the smart infotainment unit.

The next smart feature loaded to the equipment list of the 2020 Hyundai Creta is the electric parking brake and an 8 speaker Bose premium sound system and an climate automatic control control unit that is flushed into the dashboard. There are tons of cubby storage spaces, usb charge ports, 12V charge port and yes also the Wireless charger in place. The interiors look super rich and premium and yes they feel that ways too. The materials used are of superior quality and have a feel that they gonna last for a long long time.

You also get the unique Drive mode select (Eco, Comfort and Sport), multiple traction control modes (Snow, Sand and Mud), Air Purifier, Rear Seat Reclining, rear window manual sun shade, ventilated seats,  ambient lighting, tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS) and a rearview monitor. Well then there are the app controlled features like the Remote Engine Start, remote climate control, headlight, horn, vehicle tracking, Geofencing, service reminder and lots more.

The next gen of the best selling SUV from the Korean car maker will be available in three engine options and as many as 14 variants. The new Hyundai Creta will be offered in five main variants – E, EX, S, SX, and SX (O) across different engine and gearbox options. The engine options for the All New Creta would be the 1.5-litre petrol, 1.5-litre U2 diesel and the 1.4-litre Turbo GDI petrol. All the engines are BS6 compliant from day one. Transmission options will include the 6-speed manual and torque convertor, 7-speed DCT, and the iVT automatic.

Interms of safety the All New Hyundai Creta comes loaded with front two airbas as standard, side and curtain airbags on SX (O) trim, ABS with EBD, ESC, VSM, Hill start assist control, rear park sensors, rear park camera with adaptive guidence, emergency stop signal, aut headlamps, puddle lamps to name a few.
