LIVE – Skoda Kodiaq Scout Launched in India at ₹33.99Lakh

Skoda has launched the Kodiaq Scout in India and priced it at ₹33.99Lakh Ex Showroom.

Skoda has launched the Kodiaq in 2017 and the Scout is the 4×4 dynamic version of the SUV. the Kodiaq has always been a very good looking SUV with typical benchmark Skoda styling and extremely well built. In terms of changes on the exteriors the Kodiaq Scout comes with distinctive grille with chrome surrounds, redesigned front bumper with silver lip spoiler and faux skid plate. The changes on the sides include special Scout badging on the fender, new design 18 inches alloy wheels, silver housing around wing mirrors, roof rails.

On the rear the Scout sports a totally redesigned dual tone rear bumper with faux skid plates, unique Skoda badging in block letters placed in the center of the tailgate. Other features like the panoramic sunroof, Full LED crystalline headlights, C Shaped LED tail lamps continue to adorn the Kodiaq Scout.

The basic styling of the cabin remains the same on the Skoda Kodiaq Scout. Design changes on the interior include brushed wooden decor with black inserts and chrome highlights, alcntara leather upholstery, special Scout logo on seats.

The technical specifications remain the same with the 2.0L 4-cylinder TDi Diesel engine powering the Skoda Kodiaq Scout, this engine makes 150PS of power and 340Nm of torque. This engine is mated to the 7-speed DSG automatic transmission. The Kodiaq Scout comes with an intelligent 4×4 unit. You also get Preset drive modes to choose from – Normal, Sport, Individual.

Other features on the Skoda Kodiaq Scout include an 8inch infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, Canton sound system with 10 speakers & a subwoofer with 575 watts Of total output, Boss Connect, 3 Zone climate control to name a few.

In terms of safety the Skoda Kodiaq Scout comes with nine airbags, Ibuzz Fatigue Alert, AFS (Adaptive Front light System), ABS (Anti-lock Braking System), ESC (Electronic Stability Control), EBD (Electronic Brake-force Distribution), MBA (Mechanical Brake Assist), MKB (Multi Collision Brake), HBA (Hydraulic Brake Assist), ASR (Anti Slip Regulation), and EDS (Electronic Differential Lock).

The Skoda Kodiaq Scout is available in four colour options: Lava Blue, Quartz Grey, Moon White, and Magic Black.
