LIVE – TVS Motor launches the Raider 125cc tech loaded motorcycle at Rs. 77,500/-
TVS Motor has launched the Raider 125cc motorcycle priced at Rs. 77,500 and Rs 85,469 for the disc brake variant (all prices ex-showroom, Delhi). The TVS Raider comes with loads of tech features loaded to it. TVS Raider is available in drum and disc variant in Striking Red, Blazing Blue, Wicked Black and Fiery Yellow body color options. TVS Raider 125cc motorcycle will rival Honda CB Shine, Bajaj Pulsar 125, Bajaj Discover 125, KTM 125 Duke, and Hero Super Splendor and is targeted towards the younger generation.
Powering the TVS Raider is 124.8 cc air & oil-cooled 3V engine that churns a maximum power of 11.2hp @ 7,500 rpm and torque of 11.2 Nm @ 6,000 rpm. The motorcycle boasts a best-in-class acceleration of 0-60 km/h in 5.9 secs and an impressive top speed of 99 km/h. You also get two ride modes – Power and Eco. The Raider’s engine has the same bore and stroke figures as the NTorq 125 while TVS says its an all new engine from ground up.
The motorcycle comes with telescopic fork upfront and a monoshock at the rear. You also get the option of a 240mm disc and a 130mm drum brake for the front end, the 130mm rear drum brake and CBS are standard. The Raider rides on 17-inch alloy wheels mounted with TVS Remora tyres.
The Raider 125 is developed as an all new motorcycle from the ground up. In terms of design the motorcycle gets a Transformer like face, an all new design tank, split seats, visible monoshock that gives a sporty look, all LED head lamps and tail lamp while the turn indicators come with blub glow.
In terms of tech the Raider comes with unique Reverse LCD digital speedometer with Ride Modes on it. The TVS Raider also comes with an optional 5-inch TFT cluster with TVS SMARTXONNECTTM variant, which comes loaded with Bluetooth Connectivity and Voice Assist features. THis diaplay reads out fuel efficiency, top and average speed indicator, a stop/start system indicator, and a ride mode indicator.
