Magenta Mobility and Switch Mobility unite to revolutionize electric last-mile and mid-mile delivery in India

Magenta Mobility, an integrated electric mobility solutions provider, and Switch Mobility, the electric vehicle arm of the Hinduja Group, have entered a strategic partnership to modernize last-mile and mid-mile intra-city operations across India. Central to this collaboration is a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for the acquisition of 500 units of the recently launched SWITCH IeV4 (Intelligent EV) over two years, marking a significant milestone in the electric Light Commercial Vehicle (eLCV) segment.

The SWITCH IeV4, equipped with a 32.2 kWh battery and a 1700 kg payload capacity, promises efficient operations with a 120 km range. Its robust motor and advanced connectivity features are aligned with Magenta Mobility’s growth plans, including the ambitious ‘Ab Ki Baar Dus Hazaar’ program aimed at deploying 10,000 electric vehicles by September 2025.
