Maruti Suzuki Concept Future S teased before Auto Expo 2018

Come February and Maruti Suzuki India limited will tease car aficionados with an all new compact car design language in the form of Concept Future S. Concept Future S is a uniquely styled compact car that has a bold presence with its distinct SUV like characters aimed to delight customers in the compact car space. Compact is beautiful, Concept Future S beautifully carries forward this Suzuki slogan and creates its own positioning by breaking away from the conventional proportions of a compact car.

The market leader targets to re-define compact car design language with Concept Future S. A few design cues from the sketch reveal an upright stance, commanding higher seating and ground clearance, horizontal hood giving it a unique aggressive stance and posture. The sketch exudes confidence and aggressive demeanor. The urban SUV image is put together by the bold and upright front, with a Unique A-pillar treatment, that playfully connects to the accent on the side sill, taut powerful shoulders and a raised rear volume to give a dynamic appeal.

Explaining the new concept, Mr.CV Raman, Senior Executive Director (Engineering), Maruti Suzuki India Limited said, “The increasing preference for UVs and their bold architecture inspired our design team to study a new character for compact cars. Concept Future S could mark a distinctive shift in how compact cars are shaped and designed in India in the future.”

Maruti Suzuki design team feels that Concept Future S epitomizes the next level of design evolution in terms of design proportions, body sculpting and stimulating fusion of bold patterns and superior accent colors. It is a big step-up in design language. The global premiere of Concept Future S will take place at Delhi Auto Expo in early February. More details will be available in the run-up to the Expo.
