Mercedes & Laureus Sport for Good Appoint Yuvraj Singh as their Brand Ambassador

Mercedes -Benz India has today announced their support to the Laureus Sport for Good foundation which in turn has signed Indian Star Cricketer Yuvraj Singh as their Ambassador. With this Laureus Sport for Good now funds four
key programmes in India – Naz Foundation, Slum Soccer, OSCAR and YUWA. Mercedes-Benz India will also support various novel social initiatives under its ‘Mercedes for India’ philosophy, influencing education and environmental sustenance. This is the second year that the German car maker has teamed up with the Laureus Sport for Good foundation.

Mercedes says Yuvraj, a leading Indian sportsman, will provide inspiration for a positive change, by helping young people understand the true value of sport.
Delighted with this teaming up the ace cricketer Yuvraj Singh, commented, “It’s an honour for me to join the Laureus Family here in India and to see first-hand the great work being done to help young people overcome challenges in their lives. I’m a firm believer in the power of sport and its incredible ability to change lives, it changed mine and I’m looking forward to helping Laureus in their goal to improve many more in the future.”
