Royal Enfield launches riding gear and apparel for women in India

Royal Enfield’s women’s range has products priced from ₹ 700 to ₹ 14,000 and is available on its online store.

 Royal Enfield has launched a range of riding gear and apparel specifically for women. It is available at Royal Enfield’s online store, specifically in the women’s wear section. The products consist of full-face helmets, short riding gloves, riding jackets, riding pants, regular jackets, and tops. They will be available in select Royal Enfield stores in Delhi, Bengaluru, Ahmedabad, and Kolkata.

There are two full-face helmets priced at ₹ 3700, short riding gloves priced at ₹ 2000-3300, riding jackets that start at ₹ 5800 and go all the way to ₹ 14,000 for the three-layer Nubra jacket. The Nubra riding pants are also available for ₹ 9500, as well as the Breeze riding pants for ₹ 6500. In addition to riding gear, there are products that can be worn off the motorcycle as well, including leather jackets (₹10,000-11,000), tshirts (₹700-1100) and tank tops, some of which are racerbacks. The tank tops are priced similar to the tshirts.

Royal Enfield did not specify whether the women’s apparel is cut differently, as jackets and pants made by established gear manufacturers typically follow a different cut for these products. This is an interesting – and welcome – move from a manufacturer who has been known as a masculine motorcycle brand for a very long time.
