Skoda India has announced their unique service package, Skoda Shield Plus which will get the customers hassle free service. This is a big company offensive coming from Skoda India specially for buyers who think that running and maintaining Skoda cars is an expensive affair.
It may be recalled that Skoda India had announced its market first 4 year service care program which includes 4 year warranty program along with 4 year road side assistance which is standard across all its car models in India. Now taking their unique service initiative ahead the car maker has introduced segment first service package called Shield Plus. This unique service initiative is specially designed under Skoda’s ‘India 2.0’ strategy which will improve transparency with the customer and also help in enhancing the overall ownership experience to the Skoda buyer.
Skoda has included 24×7 roadside assistance, car insurance and an extended warranty on paid basis in the Shield Plus initiative. The Shield Plus package can be availed on all Skoda models including the Rapid, Octavia, Superb and the Kodiaq. Skoda Shield Plus includes comprehensive insurance for the first year followed by third part insurance for the following three years. Skoda will also be offering 24×7 roadside assistance to its customers for the fifth and sixth year. Warranty period for the Skoda cars now cover the fifth and sixth year or 1,50,000kms whichever is earlier starting from the date of purchase of the vehicle.
