Toyota Glanza launched at ₹7.21 Lakh
Toyota has launched the Glanza Premium hatch with prices starting at ₹7.21 Lakh Ex Showroom Delhi.
The Glanza is the first rebadged product to come from the Toyota Maruti Suzuki alliance. The Glanza is based on the Maruti Suzuki Baleno and is only available in Petrol engine options. The name Glanza is derived from a German word which means Brilliancy/ Radiance/ Sparkle as per Toyota.
In terms of looks the Toyota Glanza looks ditto like the Maruti Suzuki Baleno with a reworked front bumper, all new grille, new design alloy wheels and Toyota badging on the front and rear. The Glanza comes with LED projector auto headlamps, LED tail lamps,
On the inside the Toyota Glanza comes with an updated upholstery for the seats, instrumentation carried from the Baleno, infotainment touchscreen unit from the Baleno with Android Auto & Apple Car Play and Smart Phone based Navigation, Interactive TFT Multi Info Display, Reverse Parking Camera.
In terms of safety the Toyota Glanza comes with front dual airbags, ABS with EBD and Brake assist. The Toyota Glanza is available in five body color options – Café White, Sportin Red, Insta Blue, Gaming Grey, Enticing Silver.
The Toyota Glanza is powered by the BS-VI compliant 4 cylinder 1.2L K Series engine in two tune options. The Manual transmission G variant makes 89.7PS @6000RPM, this variant also gets the mild hybrid (Li-Ion battery with ISG) while the V grade Manual transmission and the G grade CVT and the V CVT automatic makes 82.9PS @6000RPM.
Toyota is also offering is offering a 3year/100K Kms & extended upto 5year/220K Kms Warranty along with the ‘Toyota ownership’ experience, Q-Service app utilization and Toyota Connect facilities with the Glanza.
