VinFast’s VF 8, a D-segment SUV, has established itself as a safety leader by securing five out of six top safety awards from the New Car Assessment Program for Southeast Asia (ASEAN NCAP) in Thailand on May 28, 2024.

In the Best Safety Assist category, the VF 8 stood out for its advanced safety features such as Forward Collision Warning (FCW), Autonomous Emergency Braking (AEB), and Lane Departure Warning (LDW), which contribute to accident prevention and severity reduction.

VinFast’s global debut model achieved the highest scores in both the Best Overall and Best Motorcyclist Safety categories. Its stellar performance in areas like AEB and Blind Spot Detection (BSD) played a pivotal role in these accolades.
