Royal Enfield Stealth Black Classic 500 motorcycles ridden by NSG Commandos sold out in 15 secs

Royal Enfield had an Online Sale for the 15 Stealth Black Classic 500 motorcycles ridden by NSG Commandos that were a part of the 2017 NSG Expedition recently. All the 15 collectors edition motorcycles got sold in 15 seconds flat. These 15 Royal Enfield motorcycles were a part of National Security Guards’(NSG) Motorcycle Expedition ‘Fight Against Terror’ ride in September 2017. The NSG ride was a 40 day motorcycle expedition, aimed at spreading awareness about fighting terrorism and serving the nation. Covering over 8000-kms across the length and breadth of India on these motorcycles. This ride also commemorated the NSG’s 33 years of service to the nation. The ride set off on 7th September 2017 with 15 Black Cat commandos of NSG riding across NSGs Kolkata, Mumbai, Gandhinagar, Hyderabad and Chennai bases and culminated their expedition on 16th October 2017 at the NSG headquarters in Manesar, Haryana, wherein they were felicitated by the Vice President of India – Shri Venkaiah Naidu.

Scheduled to be conducted on December 13th, the registration for the online sale of these motorcycles was opened on December 8th 2017. Over the ensuing 5 days, the specially created webpage – www.royalenfield.com/bravehearts – saw a registration of more than 2000 interested buyers who stood an opportunity to book and own one of the 15 motorcycles on a first-come-first-serve basis. The sale opened at 12.00 noon Wednesday, December 13th, and in less than 18 seconds all the 15 motorcycles were booked and sold at a special price of Rs. 1,90,000/-, with an online booking amount of Rs. 15,000/-. The 15 lucky winners will be handed over their Limited Edition Stealth Black 500 motorcycles at a local dealership on payment of the full amount. The entire proceeds from the sale of these 15 motorcycles will go to Prerna, a not-for-profit initiative supported by NSG for differently abled children.
