2017 Hyundai Grand i10 Facelift Launched At Rs. 4.58 Lakhs
The 2017 Hyundai Grand i10 gets a brand new 1.2-litre diesel motor that develops more power and is more fuel efficient than before.
Hyundai Motor India Ltd, the country’s second largest car manufacturer and the largest passenger car exporter today launched the new 2017 Grand i10 facelift. The car gets many aesthetic as well as mechanical changes. The exteriors of the 2017 Hyundai Grand i10 projects Hyundai’s new design identity with the Cascade Design Front Grille, redesigned new bumper with new fog lamp inserts and LED DRLs. At the rear, the car comes with a new dual tone bumper along with reflectors that are incorporated into it. Design of the Diamond Cut Alloys and wheel covers have been refreshed too and the side body moulding has become sleeker giving a fresh look to the profile of the car.
For the tech savvy car freaks the 2017 Hyundai Grand i10 offers a new 7-inch touch screen infotainment system with support for Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and MirrorLink. It also offers safety features like Rear Parking Assist System with a new rear facing camera, Dual Airbags and ABS. Fully Automatic Temperature Control has been introduced for the first time, while Rear AC vents continue to be offered on higher variants.
The 2017 Hyundai Grand i10 is powered by a 1.2-litre petrol motor that develops 83 PS. This motor comes mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox or a 4-speed automatic transmission and delivers a fuel efficiency of 19.77 kmpl and 17.49 kmpl respectively. The major mechanical change though is the brand new 1.2-litre U2 diesel motor that develops 75 PS of max power and delivers 24.95 kmpl. This engine has been only offered with the 5-speed manual gearbox. New features like the Alternator Management System and the Air Curtains up front have helped improve fuel efficiency on the new 2017 Hyundai Grand i10.
