2017 Range Rover Evoque Petrol Launched In India

The 2017 Range Rover Evoque petrol comes in just weeks after the launch of its Ingenium diesel powered twin in India.

Land Rover India has launched a petrol variant of the super stylish Range Rover Evoque SUV in India. The 2017 Range Rover Evoque petrol is powered by the same 2.0-litre turbo petrol that powers other cars from the Jaguar Land Rover line up like the Jaguar XE, Jaguar XF and Land Rover Discovery Sport. The motor develops 240 PS of max power and comes mated to a 9-speed automatic gearbox. It has been priced at Rs. 53.20 lakhs ex-showroom Delhi and will compete head on with the Mercedes-Benz GLC petrol.

The 2017 Range Rover Evoque petrol has been made available in just one trim level – SE. This is in addition to the 2.0-litre Ingenium diesel available in Pure, SE, SE Dynamic, HSE and HSE Dynamic derivatives prices for which range from Rs. 49.10 lakhs and goes upto Rs. 64.65 lakhs ex-Delhi. The company had also introduced a special Ember Edition with the diesel last month (priced at Rs. 67.90 lakhs) with added a red and black theme exterior paint job and Ebony black seats with a contrasting red stitching.

The 2017 Range Rover Evoque petrol in the SE trim gets features like a InControl Touch infotainment system, rear parking camera, keyless entry, grained leather upholstery with two colour options, 17-inch alloy wheels, 8-way electric front seats and various other optional features like a 360-degree camera and large 20-inch alloy wheels.
