2019 Renault KWID Launched at ₹2.83Lakh

Renault has launched the 2019 KWID with prices starting at an unbelievable ₹2.83Lakh. It may be recalled that Maruti Suzuki had launched the Kwid rival SPresso just yesterday.

As per Renault India the Kwid has seen more than 3 Lakh customers in India so far since its launch. The Kwid has today received one of the biggest updates till date. The 2019 Renault Kwid is available across eight variants and six body color options with two engines and two transmissions on offer which include the 0.8L and the 1.0L power plants.

Updates on the exteriors include a fresh redesigned face with a brand new three salt grille, split headlight styling that now includes a DRL on the top and another unit placed lower with turn lights and headlight beam placed in them. The front bumper also gets a complete overhaul with integrated faux skid plates, contrast color inserts, new design C shaped LED tail lights, steel wheels with new design wheel caps, black masked B pillar, contrast color housing on wing mirrors.

On the insides the 2019 Renault Kwid comes with an all new 8 inch touch screen infotainment system that includes smartphone connectivity features, piano black inserts around the new design AC vents and steering, revised digital instrument cluster.

Powering the 2019 Renault Kwid are the same 0.8L and the 1.0L engine options. The 0.8L engine comes mated to the 5-speed manual transmission while the 1.0L engine can either be got with a 5-speed manual or AMT automatic transmission option.

As mentioned the 2019 Renault KWID takes on the likes of the Maruti Suzuki SPresso that was just launched yesterday.
