2022 Maruti Suzuki WagonR launched at Rs. 5.39 Lakh
Maruti Suzuki has launched the 2022 WagonR today with prices starting at Rs. 5.39 Lakh. The #Dilsestrong WagonR as Maruti Suzuki terms it is available across two engine options and a CNG option too. The 2022 WagonR can also be owned through Maruti Suzuki Subscribe at an all-inclusive monthly subscription fee starting from Rs. 12 300/-.
In terms of exteriors the New WagonR looks more premium now and comes with new design headlamps, new grille, redesigned bumper in dual tone finish, floating roof styling, all new dark finish alloys, new design rear bumper, redesigned tail lamps. The dual-tone exterior design option will be available in the Z+ variant in 2 new colour combinations of Gallant Red with Black roof and Magma Grey with Black roof.
In terms of interiors the 2022 WagonR comes with dual-tone interiors with premium beige and dark grey melange seat fabric design, 7-inch touchscreen AVN system with SmartPlay Studio and smartphone navigation comes with 4 speakers and supported by cloud-based services.
Powering the 2022 WagonR is the option of two K-series Dual Jet, Dual VVT Engines with Idle Start Stop Technology. You have the Celerio sourced 1.0L (67PS & 89Nm) and the Baleno sourced 1.2L (90PS &113Nm) Powertrain options to choose from. The 1.0L option is also available in S-CNG fuel options, 1.0L engine delivers fuel efficiency of 25.19**Â km/l in petrol (VXI AGS), higher by approximately 16% from outgoing model and 34.05** km/kg in S-CNG, higher by approximately 5% from outgoing S-CNG model. The factory-fitted S-CNG option is now available in both LXI and VXI variants powered by 1.0L Next Gen K-Series Dual Jet, Dual VVT engine. The 1.2L Advance K-Series Dual Jet, Dual VVT engine with ISS delivers 24.43**Â km/l (ZXI AGS /ZXI+ AGS), higher by approximately 19% from outgoing model. Powered by cutting edge technology, the New Wagon R is available in both Manual and Automatic Gear Shift (AGS) transmission options (AGS is available in VXI and above Petrol variants only).
In terms of safety the 2022 WagonR comes with dual airbags, Antilock Braking System (ABS) with Electronic Brake Force Distribution (EBD), front seat belts reminder, high-speed alert system and rear parking sensors are standard across variants. The New WagonR also comes powered with the Hill-Hold Assist in AGS variants. The 2022 WagonR is available in 2 Dual tone paint options – Gallant Red with Black Roof and Magma Grey with Black Roof. Maruti Suzuki has also launched the New Tour H3 trim exclusively for the passenger taxi segment in Petrol and S-CNG Variants.
