Auto Expo 2018 – Maruti-Suzuki to Showcase the Electric e-Survivor & More
Maruti Suzuki is all geared up for the upcoming Auto Expo in February at Delhi. One of the highlights of the mega Maruti-Suzuki pavilion will be the e-Survivor. The Maruti Suzuki e-Survivor is an all electric concept vehicle. This unique concept electric vehicle is a design study model for a compact SUV that pays tribute to Suzuki’s proud 4WD heritage.
The e-Survivor is an symbolism of Maruti Suzuki’s commitment to help develop the entire lifecycle of EVs in India including local manufacture of components, charging infrastructure and recycling of batteries. As per Maruti Suzuki the Concept e-SURVIVOR aims to take the excitement of driving to the next level and offer the fun of off-roading ahead of its time, and yet be relevant to the present. Positioned as a futuristic concept, Concept e-SURVIVOR brings together many new technologies that depict the new and exciting F.A.C.E of Suzuki’s intent for Future Mobility. (Four-Wheel Drive, Autonomous, Connected & Electric).
Global premiere of Concept FutureS is also happening at the Maruti Suzuki stands this Expo. Maruti Suzuki defines the Concept FutureS thats Pegged as showstopper for the 2018 Auto Expo, Concept FutureS presents an all “new design language” for “compact cars” in India. Designed in-house by Maruti Suzuki designers, Compact Future S marks a big shift in the way compact cars are designed in India.The next level of “design evolution” in terms of design proportions, body sculpting and stimulating fusion of bold patterns and superior accent colors has been achieved through the Concept FutureS”.
Maruti Suzuki will launch the much awaited All New Swift at the Auto Expo. Bookings for the Swift have already opened. The All New Swift is built on the 5th Gen HEARTECT platform. The car comes powered with the 1.3L DDiS Diesel and 1.2L K12 VVT Petrol engine options with Manual and AMT Auto transmission options.
