Exploring BYD’s Seal EV: Price and Features Revealed as Deliveries Begin

The BYD Seal hit the Indian market on March 5, 2024, with an initial ex-showroom price tag of Rs. 41 lakh. It’s available in three variants: Dynamic, Premium, and Performance. In terms of specifications, the Seal offers two battery pack choices – 61.44kWh and 82.56kWh units. Furthermore, the sedan boasts an ARAI-certified driving range of up to 650km on a single charge.

BYD India achieved a remarkable feat by delivering 200 units of the Seal sedan in a single day nationwide. Recently, the Chinese automaker garnered over 1,000 orders for the all-electric sedan in just over two months since booking commenced. This mega-delivery event took place in cities like Delhi NCR, Mumbai, Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad, and Kochi.
