Datsun rediGO to come with a powerful 1.0-litre engine, Bookings Open

The Datsun rediGO 1.0-litre could be the most affordable car in India to be powered by a 1.0-litre engine when it launches later this month.

Datsun India is all set to launch a new powerful version of the rediGO hatchback very soon. The company has opened up bookings for the all new rediGO 1.0-litre for an amount of Rs. 10,000/- at all Nissan-Datsun dealerships across India. The company will announce its prices and will also commence deliveries on the 26th July 2017. The Datsun rediGO with the 1.0-litre engine is expected to be launched only in the top trim that will be around Rs. 30,000/- more than the corresponding top of the line 0.8-litre rediGO. The engine comes with the Intelligent Spark Automated Technology (iSAT) that provides excellent fuel efficiency and performance. It develops 67 HP and is mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox.

The company recently launched the rediGO Sport variant and also appointed 2016 Rio Olympics medal winner Sakshi Malik as the brand ambassador. Sakshi is India’s first female wrestler to win a Olympic medal. Customers can also get more details about the redi-GO 1.0L on the ‘Datsun India App’ which can be downloaded from Google Play store and also on the company’s India website.
