Eicher Polaris launches Multix Personal Utility Vehicle in India
The Multix has undergone 18 lakh kms equivalent of testing on one of the world’s toughest testing tracks abroad as well as in India on specially built test tracks.
Eicher Polaris Pvt. Ltd., announced the launch of Multix – India’s first Personal Utility Vehicle in Haryana today. This new concept vehicle has created a new category in the automotive segment and has been specially designed for independent businessmen who form an estimated population of 5.8 crores in India. The Multix will be available at M/S. Faridabad Motors Pvt. Plot no. – 916, B Block, Sector 64, Mohana Road, Ballabgarh in four colors, starting at a price of Rs. 3,49,000/- (ex-showroom, Faridabad). The new dealership, was inaugurated by Mr. Panjak Dubey, Chief Executive Officer & Director, Eicher Polaris Private Ltd and will also offer unique accessories to consumers in the region.
The Multix is powered by a diesel engine that deliver a fuel efficiency of 28.45 kmpl. It gets a first in class Pro Ride system that comes with an independent suspension setup that helps ride quality on bad surfaces. Some of the safety features include a unique tubular frame structure, Roll-Over Protection System (ROPS) and a Flexituff body that offers structural stability and durability. One of the most unique features of the Multix is the X-Port Power Take-off Function that generates up to 3 kW of power and can be used for powering professional equipment such as drilling machines, DJ systems, water pumps etc.
The practicality of this vehicle lies in its customisable seating; it can be used as a 5-seater or can be converted to a flat bed with up to 1918 litres of storage space.
