In terms of interiors the new Mahindra Scorpio is expected to come with a all new cabin area which includes a new dashboard with a new center console, instrument panel, AC vents and steering wheel, touchscreen infotainment system with state-of-the-art connectivity features, engine start / stop button.

The new Mahindra Scorpio will be powered by the same engine options that also power the new Thar, 2.0-litre mStallion turbocharged petrol engine and a 2.2-litre mHawk diesel motor. Transmission options include both manual and automatic. The new Scorpio will also get a 4×4 trim on its lineup. The petrol engine belts out a maximum power output of 150 bhp and 320 Nm of peak torque. Whereas, the diesel motor generates 130 bhp and 320 Nm of maximum torque. What would be interesting to see is if Mahindra retunes these engines as compared to the Thar for their power and torque output.
