Hero unveils the Maverick 440 its Flagship model, Bookings Open Next Month

Hero MotoCorp has kick started 2024 in style. They have unveiled their flagship model the Maverick 440 and also launched the Xtreme 125R in India today at the Hero World 2024 at Jaipur. The Hero XTreme 125R is priced at Rs. 95,000/- while the Maverick 440 will go on sale next month.

Lets talk of the Flagship Hero the Maverick 440 first. This is a street fighter styled motorcycle based on the same platform of the Harley-Davidson X440 also sharing its powertrain. Powering the Hero Maverick 440 is the 440cc single cylinder oil cooled engine that makes 27hp of power and 36Nm of peak torque mated to a 6-speed transmission. The Maverick come with a 43mm telescopic fork along with dual shock absorbers at the rear. It gets discs brakes at the front and rear.

In terms of features the Maverick comes with all LED lights with H style DRL glow in round headlamps, single seat, LCD digital instrument console wit turn by turn navigation, Bluetooth and call alerts, connected tech and e-sim. The motorcycle also gets diamond cut alloy wheels on the feature list. Speaking of color options the Maverick is available i White, red, blue, black and Matte black options. the motorcycle will be available in Base, Mid and Top trims.

Hero will open the bookings for the Maverick 440 in February with deliveries planned for April this year. In terms of competition the Maverick 440 goes up against the likes of the Royal Enfield Classic 350, Triumph Speed 400, Honda H’ness CB350, Jawa 42 and its direct cousin the Harley-Davidson X440.
