Honda Cars India have introduced a new trim in automatic for the Amaze. The VX CVT joins the lineup for the Honda Amaze as the new grade in both Petrol and Diesel. The Honda Amaze VX CVT Petrol is priced at ₹8,56,900 while the Amaze VX CVT is prices at ₹9,56,900 Ex Showroom Pan India. The new grade will be available in both Petrol & Diesel. Earlier, the CVT variant was available in S and V grade of Honda Amaze.
Key features that come with the Honda Amaze VX CVT include 17.7 cm Advanced Infotainment System with Capacitive Touchscreen, In-built Satellite Linked Turn by Turn Navigation, Smartphone Connectivity for Android Auto, Apple Carplay, IR Remote Control, Additional USB-In port, Steering Mounted Voice control switches, Rear Camera with Guidelines, Driver Side Window One Touch Up with Pinch Guard.
Speaking on the introduction of new top grade VX CVT in Honda Amaze Mr. Rajesh Goel, Sr. Vice President and Director, Sales & Marketing, Honda Cars India Ltd. said, “The 2nd Generation Honda Amaze set a new benchmark in its segment with over 20% of our customers opting for advanced CVT variants in both petrol and diesel. The Amaze line-up has also been equipped with standard application of Front Passenger Seat Belt Reminder and High Speed Alarm. Addition of these features have been done ahead of Safety regulations that will be implemented from 1st July 2019. The Amaze was already equipped with standard rear parking sensors, ABS, Dual airbags, ISOFIX Child Seat Anchorage, Impact Sensing Door Unlock and host of other safety features at the time of launch in May 2018.
The All New 2nd Generation Honda Amaze has been a hugely successful launch of 2018 and the model contributed to 46% of total HCIL sales in FY 2018-19. The All New Amaze registered sales of over 85,000 units in 11 months since its launch in May 2018 which is the fastest sales number recorded by any new model launched by HCIL in India. First introduced in India in April 2013, Honda Amaze has sold more than 3.4 lakh units.
